2 Lebo Girls are Fab Five All-Stars

JACKIE BABE

Guard, 5-9, Senior

Babe was the unquestioned leader of a Blue Devils team that is considered one of the finest in school history. With Babe as the maestro of the offense at her point guard position, Mt. Lebanon constructed a 27-3 record and reached the PIAA championship game and the WPIAL semifinals. Babe averaged just 11 points per game, but, more importantly, contributed in every category and was a stalwart on defense for coach Dori Oldaker’s team. She will play at Duquesne next season.

EMILY MILLER

Forward, 5-11, Junior

One of the instrumental pieces in Mt. Lebanon’s run to State College and the PIAA Class AAAA championship game, where the Blue Devils fell against Central Dauphin, 56-49. Miller showed the ability to be multi-faceted, playing on the wing and in the post and also asked to guard one of the other team’s most dominant players on many occasions. Miller averaged 9.5 points and 4.4 rebounds per game this season.
